Richard has practised exclusively family law since his call to the Bar. Richard’s practice encompasses all areas of family law, including domestic contracts, high conflict parenting disputes, child and spousal support, and complex property and trust claims.
Richard understands that every family is different and that every case requires a unique approach. While Richard is a skilled negotiator and believes that many families are best served through alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediations, he has considerable litigation experience and is prepared to advance his clients’ interests in any forum. His goal is to assist clients in a compassionate and pragmatic way, providing them with the advice and confidence to begin a new chapter in their lives.
Richard is an active member of The Advocates’ Society and sits on the Young Advocates’ Standing Committee. He is also a member of the Canadian and Ontario Bar Associations.
When Richard is not helping clients navigate their family law matters, he can be found at one of Toronto’s many restaurants or walking his golden retriever, Juni, while listening to an audiobook or podcast.
